Fly on to Rovaniemi and visit the Santa Claus’s village on the Arctic Circle. You can take your picture with him and send a post card home with the official stamp of Santa Claus’s Post Office. You have also the unique opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle as it runs through the village.

Enjoy the 10 KM Husky Safari
Wintertime safari with husky teams. After a short drive from town, we’ll arrive at a husky ranch, where these friendly dogs will bark an enthusiastic welcome to you. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instruction on how to control the sleds, which you will ride in pairs. Enjoy some hot berry juice by an open fire and chat with the head musher about these amazing northern animals once you return to the ranch. (Husky drive approx. 1h 15mins)

Come and join us for an evening out of the city as we take you from your hotel to great viewing locations for the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights! You’ll get a chance to enjoy a traditional meal of reindeer sausage and blueberry tea while we watch the skies overhead for the Aurora Borealis!
Follow our professional photographer and learn the tricks for capturing that perfect Northern Lights moment. Take your camera with you, or have the photographer take the best shots for you. We will take you to the mystical forest, which is 35-50 kilometres from the light pollution of the city. Your tour guide will explain how the Northern Lights are formed and tell ancient tales from the local Sami and Lappish cultures. The photographer can provide guidance in setting up the best shooting angles, shooting screen, camera settings, etc. We’ll also prepare a birch-wood fire and grill some locals’ favourite reindeer sausage and blueberry tea for you to enjoy. The photographer will also give you a photo of you and the Northern Lights for you to have a record of your wonderful moment!
We have tripods for you to use. After the trip, we will send your Northern Lights photos to you so that you may download them without any additional cost!

Adventure in the Arctic! Check out the view from the peak of the local hill. Ride a sleigh in the local reindeer and husky farms. Meet the Santa Claus in his village and get your Arctic adventurer certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle.
Climb to the top of Ounasvaara mountain, the highest point in Rovaniemi, an easy 15-minute hike on the forest trails！
Arktikum, the Arctic Museum presents the local history from the ice age and glacial periods to the present. There are 3 large exhibitions including the exhibition of the Arctic animals and the exhibition of the indigenous people, the Sami. There is also information and displays of the Northern Lights.
Next, get ready for a fast-paced husky sledge ride! These lovely dogs are very friendly. Besides, you’ll also take a relaxing reindeer sleigh ride. This is one of the traditional ways for the indigenous people, the Sami to travel.
The Arctic Snowmobile Museum is the legacy of the only snowmobile factory in Europe, featuring a 3D video exhibition and children’s activities such as hand-painted skis. Learn the history and increasing importance of the snowmobile in the Arctic region.
Visit the Santa Claus Village and get a certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle line. This fairy-tale village has plenty of shops, the official Santa Claus post-office, and of course, the Santa Claus himself!
