Join us for a fabulous 5-days photo-tour in the breathtaking Tuscany (Val D’Orcia) this Spring 2019, and let’s all enjoy the views of endless green rolling hills, misty mornings, Wild Flowers and roads punctuated with cypress trees.
Let’s spark our creativity there so we not only go home with images to be proud of but use our skills to improve and expand our photography techniques in general.
Tuscany is a laid-back trip which doesn’t require long or even moderate hike. We will move in a modern car around the green hills and photograph the landscape from secret spots that we already found during our last 5 visits to the area.
Daytime during Spring are typically long in Europe, we will use our free time to enhance our editing skills through photo editing session and photography talks.
During our free time (during the daytime), we can visit and explore the Italian heritage historical towns (Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico d’Orcia …)

Florence - Tuscany
After meeting each other in Florence, we will drive to the heart of Tuscany, specifically to Val d’Orcia area which is, without a doubt, every photographer’s dreamland. After the hotel check-in, we will head to one of my personal favorite spot in the area, a 360-degree terrace with a view all over Val d’Orcia and its rolling hills.
Sunrise will be amazing in this area, a place I consider a hidden gem, offering a magnificent view of a farmhouse from vine fields. We will visit another nearby location and use our wide angle lens to photograph the famous cypress trees road.
For sunset, we will drive 20 minutes to Asciano area, one of the most picturesque location of Tuscany, this place is magical during the sunset and the blue hour.
For Sunrise, We will visit another astonishing site in Vald’orcia region. This place is wonderful for the sunrise. Mist or fog will add a lot of value to the picture if we will be lucky enough to experience it.
Our Sunset will be in one of the most famous scenes in Tuscany, it’s where one of the Gladiator movie scenes with the cypress trees was filmed.
Starting our day early before sunrise and head to Crete Senesi area to explore another side of Tuscany.
The Crete Senesi refers to an area of the Italian region of Tuscany to the south of Siena. It consists of a range of hills and woods among villages.
On sunset, we will go back to Crete Senesi area and explore new spots while watching the sun hide behind the green rolling hills.
On sunrise, we will go to a nearby town called Pienza and photograph the stunning Chapel Vitaleta, located in the heart of green hills surrounded by cypress trees.
On sunset, we will be visiting another famous Tuscan site, the cypress group trees hill, where we can stay for 2-3 hours trying to challenge ourselves and find the best frames and combination between the wild spring flowers and the trees.
We will head to one of the hidden gems where we can see the beautiful Tuscan landscape in one frame. it’s the best way to say goodbye to this magical land before we drive back to Florence city.
